Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated dental assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for dentistry, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
The dental assistant will be responsible for assisting the dentist in all aspects of patient care, including but not limited to:
- Preparing patients for dental procedures
- Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Assisting the dentist during procedures
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and care
- Maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- Current certification in CPR
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with dental software and computer systems
